TRANSFORMATION

GIFT seeks to help all of us transform our lives in such a way that we will live a life worthy of God and impact more people with the love of Christ.

Because our lives can become so busy and consuming, we may find it difficult to live as sacrificially and as lovingly as we're called to live by Christ.

Jesus addressed this when he noted how the Pharisees were not living lives of love nor honoring God: "These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me." Mt 15:8

One prescription for a heart that honors God is found in the book of Romans. It encourages us to stop living lives consumed by the ways of the world, and to transform our lives through having our minds set on the things of God and living sacrificially for God and others.

Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God-this is your spiritual act of worship

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12: 1-2

Continually reflecting on the incredible love Jesus showed us in His sacrificial death on the cross - and on His victory over death. Including using new approaches to excitedly share in The Greatest Victory Of All Time.
