The Future of Human Power
Sep 28, 2026Rethinking power from the wholeness already here.
Much of human development is additive. We learn more, become more self-aware and capable, and gather better tools. There is real value in all of that.
For a long time though, I’ve been exploring whether we have the direction backwards. Humans naturally focus on becoming better, getting somewhere, climbing the next mountain, reaching a more developed version of ourselves.

Yet my own life, and years of working with clients, keep pointing somewhere else. There is no mountain top to reach and stay on. We lose perspective. We get knocked off balance. We fall flat on our faces. We’re human, after all.
And still, there is something here that most of us have glimpsed, then lose sight of in the midst of busy lives and pressure.
What if wholeness is already here?
Perhaps the reversal is not about becoming more, but learning to recognise more of what is already here, and live from it.
And that opens a different question about power. If we are not separate from the world out there, what becomes possible in how we lead, choose and act?
That is the question at the heart of The Future of Human Power.
Let’s keep thinking together.
